Life and Death in a Garden

Pathetically enough, I'm still mouring the end of vacation. It was so amazing to be so close to the lake. And to be able to walk barefoot out the front door, into dirt and not concrete? Heavenly.

So began another evening stroll around Worcester. To my favorite road with the lovely garden outside...only to find that the peonies are dying. Needless to say, my heart was a bit more bummed.

But that's life in a garden. New growth was shooting up all over, & the air was scented with dirt, humidity and flowers. Which, is one of the best scents ever...I wonder if someone has made that a perfume or a candle? Hmmm...

That's all today, blooming loves.
