Although, I'm more of a stuff them into plastic bags and shove them into the linen closet kinda hoarder ;)

Rust stains have broken my heart more than once...Mystery stains too. I'm always hoping that One Last Soak will remove it...maybe one day?

It's lucky your mom rescued that blouse! It was Clearly in the wrong hands! Good luck with the stains & until that miracle happens, keep rocking it!Acorns from Elmshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00457027521502812904noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4243971442504216858.post-65979000191482951452013-07-05T19:40:20.493-07:002013-07-05T19:40:20.493-07:00oh, i know the ''to mend/to wash''...oh, i know the ''to mend/to wash'' piles!

for some reason it always takes me the longest time to get to it, especially when it's my own stuff.

then i have too many ''hand wash only'' things that turn into permanent piles under the bed...

i'm afraid to soak stuff for too long - i had too many experiences of getting rust stains because of it so i'm cautious with stuff that has any metal.

that quarantine jar is a great idea! it's amazing how white it looks now!

last year my mum salvaged this amazing little embroidered blouse from my grandpa's house - he's been using it as a rag!

it still has a bunch of brownish spots on the bottom, but after endless soaking i chose to just wear it as is. maybe next wash some stain lifting miracle will happen?Sandra https://www.blogger.com/profile/00944353297734288552noreply@blogger.com
